So, how much warehouse space for $2.5 billion would you need if it came in one-dollar bills? Here’s a look at the space requirements and dimensions of cash for a fun thought experiment!
(Mind you, we do NOT recommend you store cash anywhere except a bank vault!)
幸运的是,严格从理论上讲,我们可以为你储存你的一箱箱钞票!
US bills are 2.61 inches wide and 6.14 inches long; they are .0043 inches thick. That's 0.06890922 in³. One billion of them makes 68,909,202 in³ or a cube roughly 410 inches (more than 34 feet) on a side.
So you’d need two and a half cubes of this size to store all that cash. In short, you’d need approximately 2,890 square feet to store your cubes o’ cash.
And while we do not recommend or suggest using warehouse space for $2.5 billion in cash at our facilities—even though they are clean, secure, and well-equipped—we’d certainly be happy to store the many cool items you’ll be getting after you cash in!
So whether you are a lottery winner or not, Cubework is here to help you with your storage and ecommerce inventory needs, all with our famous no hassle, flexible, affordable model. Give us a call at 909-991-6669 and we will be happy to chat with you… and if you have an unused Lamborghini to spare, we’d be happy to accept!
